  1. I disabled hyper threading and it helped quite a bit (solved my stuttering problems). The 1.07 patch for Arma 2 solved this problem but OA doesn't seem to have those fixes yet.

    Windows 7 -64 Bit

I'm running the Steam version on Windows 7 64-bit and it runs fine.
  3. I got rid of my stuttering by once again disabling hyper threading in my BIOS. I had turned it back on because on after patch 1.07 seemed to run fine with it enabled.
  4. This does not always work. I most definitely had auto patching turned off for Arma 2 in Steam yet I was forced to download 7.5 gigs last night for the 1.07 patch. Edit: I already had the BIS 1.07 patch installed.

    Update FaceTrackNoIR

I have the same problem you have and have not yet found a solution. I've tried installing various .Net releases & C++ runtimes but no luck so far.

New Beta Build 71726 is up

Should I remove -maxmem altogether or just increase it's value?

New Beta Build 71726 is up

    I have a good PC (i7 920 o/c to 3.7, 6GB ram, 5870) and I welcome all performance patches.

What version of the CRT (assume C++ runtime?) is required for this? I get a R630 CRT not initialized error when I try to run it. I've installed the FaceAPI and the HeadTracking demo as well.

I will check this out after work. Thanks for the update.

ARMA 2 (OA) : DLC discussion thread

Bioware was a DLC pioneer and was perhaps one of the first companies to invest in it heavily. There were several premium modules available as DLC for NWN1, which came out in 2002. Ironically, they did it the right way back then but now they're releasing crap like everyone else.

    Update FaceTrackNoIR

I went and bought an Xbox 360 camera at BB to test this out (it was less than $13!) since my ancient web cam isn't supported with Windows 7. At first it was completely uncontrollable but I messed around with settings and I have it working fairly well at moment. It's still a bit finicky and not as smooth/fast as it needs to be but it's impressive in any case. V4Friend, I'm looking forward to your upcoming releases. Edit: BTW, I fixed the lean left/right inverting problem by selecting the invert check box that is the right of the X slider and left of the smoothing slider.
