Killerwatt 0 Posted June 28, 2010 Hi All, My monitor is a 28 inch screen but the actual screen size is 23.5 inches wide by 14.75 inches high. Can someone please tell me what screen ratio I should be using? I currently play at a resolution of 1280x1024 with a ratio of 4:3. Also If I change my resolution, should I also change my ratio and if so to what? The way I am playing at the moment I cant help but feel the Humvees dont look quite the right shape. Thanks for any help and advice offered.
Deadfast 43 Posted June 28, 2010 16:10 You should also look up what your native resolution is (Google the model).
Nicolai 10 Posted June 28, 2010 To do this yourself: 23.5 : 14.75 = 1.6 16 : 10 = 1.
Killerwatt 0 Posted June 28, 2010 16:10You should also look up what your native resolution is (Google the model). Thanks for that Deadfast. I am running native at 1280 by 800. does that make any difference?
Deadfast 43 Posted June 28, 2010 Thanks for that Deadfast. I am running native at 1280 by 800. does that make any difference? Then if possible you should set your game to run at that resolution as well. It should give you the best image quality.

CarlGustaffa 4 Posted June 28, 2010 If you run windowed mode and have problems getting Arma2 to get the aspect right, you can shut down Arma2 and edit the Arma.cfg file manually. For the windowed 3D mode, just put in any values corresponding to the correct aspect and start. Now, even if wrong size, the aspect is at least correct, and you can resize (to locked aspect, that's why) to the size you want by dragging the corner of the window. I remember I had some "issues" when I installed Arma2.
