[SP]Baghdad Police Station

Using latest patch and latest ACE.

After downloading Baghdad 1.1, you still need to download these:

- Avgani Iraq & Afghan Village (opxbuildings.pbo & opxmisc.pbo)

- African Foliage

- IED objects

After downloading those, getting "deleted nzasc_container"

Anybody know how I can solve this? I think it's related to IED or ACE, but no real idea.

You need the latest African Foliage & IED Objects that are required for Baghdad, that fixed the problem for other people.

had a blast on the coop version today - the insurgents were hunting us in groups, flanking any time we stopped moving. :yay:

would be good to see a few more enemy vehicles - havent seen any enemy rpg troops yet either.

top mission!:bounce3:

Its really awesome and hard mission due to lots of enemies and traps etc.

I just finished the mission in SP and i really missed some things i.e working ACE backpacks

and the ACE feature which allows the player to carry "extra" guns :/

I also found that I.E.D trigger-zone maybe needs some reconsidering to make it "smaller" (if u know what i mean..)

Oh!!..i forgot..

If you make a newer version..plz integrate to selection the latest ACE's G36's with Gr.launcher :)

It's hard to survive the first few minutes, but the immersion aspect is definitely there.

Agree on the immersive feeling, it's great mission, even if I still had no time to finish it ;)

btw I have this message at the start :

No matters, cause I can Play anyway, but i'd like to solve it.

Yes they are the new SCAR variants that were added into ACE in one of the recent updates.

I will add the new G36 variants in the next update and will work on the IEDs

I purposley put some of the trigger areas a little bigger so they would blow up in your face and shock you but not harm you, and other areas are smaller and will kill you

i have to give you just one more 'tip of the hat':

It is 'heart warming' (comforting) to hear and see a Large explosion off in the distance, and i just Know it was one of the bad guys getting caught in the radius of one of their own IEDs (i grin my ass off)

(too funny) (but Fair)

ps:

If you could somehow make the location of that Police Station Dynamic, and have the early ambient sound loop thruout the mission, you'd have a gem for replayability.

... OR ... maybe that's a thought for your next Baghdad creation: A Dynamic Objective with the city.

Still One of the very best i've played Sir.

Thanks alot dondaddah, Im pleased to hear you like it so much :)

To be honest I think this and 'Election Day' may be the last missions I release for Arma 2, Because OA is released tomorrow and as you can tell from my missions, its much more my style ;)

Honestly, I can just imagine now, the immersion in missions with the FLIR, new civilian models, Insurgents, everything! It will be great :D

Hi folks, great mission but a quick question, I get the

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.ACE_SCAR_L_ACOG just before the briefing screen.

I downloaded ACE, ACEX CBA etc etc yesterday and I can access all the Scar variants in armory, yet they dont show up in the mission weapon selection screen.

Also at the very start of the mission I cannot load any of the soldiers into the vehicle..

Any pointers?

eehmm..I don't know about the error message you receiving..

but for the "vehicle" matter, i don't think is meant to be loaded or used

by the player.

I think this is pure "on foot" mission..(i m wrong guyz?..)

Figured the vehicle out, and this is strange too. I give the order, then team switch to one of the other players, the rest get in the vehicle, then switch back to my character, give the order to mount again, swith back to a team member already in the vehicle and the last one gets on. Switch back to my character and the team is loaded... Incredibly difficult to get them off again..

Still havent fixed the weapon issue though...

P.S. What are the 2 grunts standing at the start for?
