wheres my rabbit ? 10 Posted June 12, 2010 it might be a good start to actually tell us what the error messages are ?
Code Talker 0 Posted June 12, 2010 (edited) These are just two of errors. There are dozens. The game runs great on this computer, I just can't get the patches to work. Sorry for the size of the screenshots. I'll delete them when I get this problem resolved. What am I doing wrong? http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh280/choctawbadge/Error3.jpg http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh280/choctawbadge/Error4.jpg Edited June 14, 2010 by Code Talker Images too large
RavoC 10 Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) Did you download 1.96 patch update for GOTY.. cause I see you patch it from 1.85 right away, as GOTY starts at this patch..? This might be normal patch so it might not work on GOTY editions only on the Game + Red Hammer and Resistance separately installed.. Hope it helps and good luck! Btw Operation Flashpoint is epic, after ArmA 2 it just looks like Wolfenstein 3D.. xD Edited June 13, 2010 by RavoC
wheres my rabbit ? 10 Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) as ravoc says make sure its GOTY patch you have if it is, try and download it again maybe from a different source as your dl may be corrupt ps. your gonna get a bollocking for those image file sizes if a mod see's them..100kb is limit (just take the IMG tags off and leave the links) edit: pays to be more observant ...i see on your desktop it IS the GOTY patch Edited June 13, 2010 by wheres my rabbit ? Code Talker 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Thanks guys. I am definitely downloading the GOTY upgrade 1.96 patch for my 1.85 game version. I have downloaded from two different locations. Should I uninstall the game and just start over?
stgn 39 Posted June 14, 2010 Yes, if it goes wrong once you have to start over in my experience. STGN
Code Talker 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Yes, if it goes wrong once you have to start over in my experience. There it is. I'll give it a shot. I'm running Zone Alarm and AVG. Could either one of those be playing a factor?
Code Talker 0 Posted June 16, 2010 Thanks for all of your responses. I reinstalled the game last night and pulled the 1.96 patch off of Disk 1. It works great now.

chammy 7 Posted August 1, 2010 Ok, I just downloaded the patch from that site. The error I am getting is: Error found in file missions\resistance\r03underhill.noe.pbo etc. I have 1.75. Shouldn't I install the other patches? Like 1.20, 1.30 etc. etc. through 1.96? I had this same problem before and got it to work, but I installed the new Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit and I hadnt installed OFP until now. I am, however, able to play OFP period without any patches.
stgn 39 Posted August 2, 2010 Try copying the "broken" files directly from the cd to thier location and try to update again, if that dosen't work you problery have to reinstall and use the resistance update not the GOTY(only use goty if you have the goty cds) update. Unfortunetly it seems as if, if you have a faulty install once you gotta start over. STGN
chammy 7 Posted August 4, 2010 Ok, what I'm thinking I might do, and I think this might be the way I remember, and now i am just remembering to look it up in my thread history, but, I might just install each version and update as I go and see if that works. chammy 7 Posted August 5, 2010 Ok, it worked, so basically, just install all versions in order as they have come out.
grippingline 10 Posted August 24, 2010 Install 1.85 to 1.91 then 1.91 to 1.96 GOTY edition.
