jdonner 10 Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) I just bought Arma 2 (and don't ask me to go through the hassle to prove it) and I discovered that the aim seems to be off: It's always off to the right and below, always the same spot. If I shoot a 100 times, the bullet always hits the wall at the same point. It also doesn't matter how far I'm standing away from the wall. This is with version 1.05 on Vista X64 SP2. What's up with this? Edited June 7, 2010 by jdonner
Jelliz 10 Posted June 7, 2010 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=99416&highlight=aiming A search for "aiming off" gives you that thread in its results. It says essentially that the bullet travels from the barrel of the gun, not the center of the screen. Shoot something further away and you will see that its accurate. jdonner 10 Posted June 7, 2010 Thanks. The aiming seems to be ok with the scope. When I aim straight from like 30-40 meters away it does get better, but it's never really perfect in the middle (as far as I can tell from that distance), but it is inside the crosshair. But then again if you take two objects that are 10 cm apart and look at them from 40 meters to also look closer to one another. So I guess I have to deal with this then? RavoC 10 Posted June 7, 2010 Yeah well.. your head is in another angle so it's accurate just on long range as they said..
