NaxPain 10 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi, very often after i transport my squad in a helicopter, the AI has a wrong formation direction. Even if i walk 100 m with them, they still dont seem to get new 12 o clock. Is that a bug? Or can I fix it by myself? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Alex72 1 Posted March 11, 2010 Dont know if its exactlly the same issue but there is a ticket (bug report) over at the A2CIT about a formation problem. Either its a random event that triggers it or its something else, but there is a ticket about squad AI that keep the proper formation but with the wrong heading. They dont look where the leader looks and therefore the formation is facing wrong direction according to the leader. This particular problem is reported at Dev Heaven A2CIT - click my signature image to visit it. Thats the place for making bug reports. But when I think about it, sure, I think it has had a tendency to kick in when vehicles have been used. It's a bug that annoy the crap outta me, but which I have a really hard time reproducing. NaxPain 10 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) if the AI is heading to the wrong direction after dismounting a chopper, you can make them head the right direction by giving them the command "no target" (ALL - 2 - 1) maybe that helps, I will watch it ... damn, as soon as they spot a new target, the AI changes heading of the whole formation to the direction of the target... Hillslam 0 Posted September 16, 2010 For me this happens regardless of vehicle use. Regardless of "No Target" being told or movement, the 12oclock position will be correct as I'm moving but as soon as I come to a stop to engage enemies in my front, my squad will rotate the 12oclock back to some previous vector, regardless of enemy. then half my squad goes charging over the defilade to get into position and die....
