sas_razor 0 Posted April 9, 2002 We would like to run a private Ded Server and a Public Ded Server on the same machine. Is this possible? Ideally - The private should be PW protected and the Public Open. Any help here would be appeciated.
Lt_Dan_Sweden 0 Posted April 9, 2002 Please provide more info so we can help. Is there 2 separated computers? One STRONG computer doing two dedic at once? Are you using NAT or IPChains, behind same IP? If you are using NAT and 2 separate computers: Use different port for server number 2. Make a DMZ for those ports to the internal IP of computer nr 2 (192.168.1.3 or somthing).

sas_razor 0 Posted April 10, 2002 We propose to use one strong PC. the first i presume goes to port 2234 I have read that port 2235 would be used so I will set the second issue with -port 2236 Will the server sort out its own voice ports or do I need to set these too? Lt_Damage 0 Posted April 10, 2002 lol @ "strong" pc.. my pc is strong.. lol erm... yeah.. just specify dif ports, then u don't need to screw around with changing ips. I think your players need to connect on the new port also though.. (???)
sas_razor 0 Posted April 19, 2002 Use of Hosts.txt causes 2nd server to be invisible in OFP I have noticed if you use hosts.txt to record the ip of your favourite servers. then the host has two servers on the same ip - the second server does not appear. Got me going for a bit this one
