Arma vs. Arma Gold?

Recommended Posts

I was just at gamestop and I found out that Arma:Combat Operations is $10 USD more than the gold edition. Is there any major difference? Thanks!

You kidding me???? Gamestop had the regular ArmA: Combat Operation for $10 more!? I guess it doesn't really surprise me... Anyways, the gold edition includes the Queens Gambit expansion pack.

Yes, definately buy the Gold Edition. It's more up to date and comes with the expansion pack too.

you mean arma: combat operations is $ 10 more than the expansion alone (so without arma: CO). of course the main game is more expensive than the expansion alone^^ and the gold version is more expensive then arma: CO.

anyways i only bought the gold version because its required for many addons...

Does the gold edition need a better system? I have a

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M

2 GB of ram

Will it work?

No, it's the same as regular arma except it's patched to 1.8 and it has QG expansion included so it would prolly run better than vanilla

Sorry mate, you are wrong here.

You mix the GOLD edition with the Expansion pack.

The normal edition : ArmedAssault

The GOLD edition is : ArmedAssault + Queen's Gambit expansion

So, its completly ridicilous that the normal edition is 10 bucks more expensive.
