MPi 10 Posted January 18, 2010 hi, i have the same system with 2x295gtx and i7950 win7-64. on this system the game is unplayable at normal/low settings for me. On my second system Intel q6600 8800Ultra 4gig ddr2 win7-64 i can play on very high settings VD 5000m without lag and load stuttering.
Nazul 10 Posted January 18, 2010 Disable hyperthreading in the bios
bangtail 0 Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) Not sure why you would buy a 295 at this point but that's a whole other story. As the last guy said, either disable HT in the BIOS or add -cpucount=4 to the command line. Edited January 18, 2010 by BangTail

kklownboy 43 Posted January 18, 2010 this fixes nothing ;(ok the game runs 3% better and runs 5sec longer ;) its not the game thats the issue there, its your H/W, S/W setup, you dont have it right. Best you just go through the nvida section here in the forum.
-=seany=- 5 Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) add -winxp(may not be needed since the 105 patch but try it anyway) to the shortcut and set you memory level to Default in the game options, I too have a 295. I also recommend dual booting with winxp 64bit to get an extra 5-10 fps in cpu limited areas. Also use the latest Nvidia drivers and don't change anything in the profile for Arma2 Edited January 19, 2010 by -=seany=-
