Hi guys

Just a quick one, im working on some textures for Myks Sign pack, but I was just wondering if i am to take things such the RAF logo for the RAF website, or the green ISAF patch form another website, will I have to e-mail each person to ask for permission to use their graphic in Arma II?

assuming that ur reffering to the royal air force, and the isreali airforce, no, but if ur reffering to an actually organization like EA, DICE, Target, SEARS, etc. you have to get permission. As militaries are gov't entities, i dont think that u have to get permission though. But im not sure

Just because it's a government website / image means not you can do with it whatever you please. Go back to that RAF site and check the lower right corner.

However I doubt that you will get in much trouble for using the RAF logo, especially if it's for non-commercial use. But if you want to be on the safe site, send an email and ask.
