Yomies 2, porting the infamous Yomies to ArmA2

Why can't the "limited" speed feature be added to the zombies? If they're super hard to kill and slow are beans, and you have next to nowhere to hide then that adds suspense.

Umm, did i said that? Of course it's possible to force them to "LIMITED" speed, but it's nowhere near the top of my priority list.

If i do not forget, i will make it an option, but right now i have much worse problems to think about (like i described in my latest posts).

Right now, the development is on hold.

My sincere apologies to everyone who is waiting for this addon.

I have not given up yet, but my hands are now full with other things to do in RL, so i don't have the time to spend all day on trying to figure out whats wrong.

So i'll get back to it as soon as i will be able to.

In the meantime, if anyone is willing to look at the sources in their current state, and try to find solution to the problem, you are most welcome - just PM me and i'll send you the whole package.

This only applies to the "old scripts" right? If the Russian soldier, by default, attacks both independent and us forces, then couldn't a "new" Zombie be created with limited speed and a "translucent" close range weapon?

Maybe something with a grenade throw animation (that forces the zombie to be in place to hit, giving the play time to get away), and a small radius projectile.

What about simply starting over with a simpler zombie with limited speed since the old zombie scripts don't work with the new patches?

Ah, ok, now i get it :-)

Good point, i just tried it to make sure, but sadly it wont help.

The problem is manifesting itself no matter what is the speed of the zombie.

I still hope i introduced some bug into my scripts/FSMs, but so far i found nothing (not that i am searching all day, since last time i had only 2 hours to play with it, so much i am preoccupied).

Anyway, no matter if you use setSpeedMode to force limited or any other speed.

First post is updated with some experimental sample.

Download it, mess with it, tell me it's a piece of crap, and then delete it :)
