phaeden 0 Posted January 11, 2010 I've searched the forums and haven't really seen any tutorials on how to create and implement animations into ArmA2. Can any of you guide me to something that might help? Essentially, what I would like to do is to create custom animations for infantry. Specifically, I want to modify their body position while in a parachute and then so that they conduct a proper Parachute Landing Fall (PLF) when they reach the ground. Ideally, I would be able to configure the game to have the animation change based on height AGL. In this way, they would be able to release their pack which would drop down on a tether below them when they are getting close to the ground. They would then change their body position again right before they hit the dirt. Anyway, if anyone know of a resource or if someone in "the know" would be willing to guide me on the right path, it would be greatly appreciated. max power 21 Posted January 12, 2010 The ArmA 2 skeleton is different, so what I wrote there should be okay in principle, but as far as I know we don't have the capacity to make new animations yet.

Yes we do, animations for ArmA 2 made with ArmA 1 skeleton work fine.
max power 21 Posted January 14, 2010 Thanks, USSRsniper. Oh, and the ArmA 2 skeleton has been out for months. I didn't see it for some reason (possibly because I'm not making characters). http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1413200&postcount=2 :)
