Sneaker-78- 0 Posted December 25, 2009 (edited) Hi all, When i am the pilot and my GF is the gunner , i do get a good lock but the gunner only get a lock with the mg and not an lock when she select hellfire, we tried everyting ,range ,hight other aproach and all targets had a good sight. What are we doing wrong here ? We are using the ace mod. Edit : we just tested a bit When the gunner has the mg selected the pilot get a lock with the star When the gunner has the hellfire selected the pilot has no lock and the gunner also no lock Edited December 25, 2009 by Sneaker-78- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Binkowski 26 Posted December 25, 2009 With ACE2, you need to have a forward air controller (FAC) on the ground with a laser designator. The AGM's can lock on to the laser target. And not vehicles. Maybe just add a delay before acquiring a lock. I'd like to get the gunner laser method back from ACE1. I'd like to see the gunner system from ACE1 in ACE2, it would be great. But for whatever reason it's like it is now. Maybe it will be changed today? What are we doing wrong here ? Clearly the problem here goes well beyond the Apache's targeting system. What stands out here is that she is only your GF, not fiance or wife. A woman who will gun your chopper in Arma2 and be happy doing so is an exceptionally rare creature. Playing pilot gunner is great fun and makes the Apache more of a challenge to fly. Firing multiple missiles and then changing where the designator pointed worked a charm - really good job on the ACE1 team :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
