KaRRiLLioN 0 Posted April 8, 2002 I'd really like to see something like the master admin and then Junior admin stuff available so that I could give the Jr admin password to a few regulars to use when I or one of the other regular admins aren't there. I'd also like the ablity to delegate admin authority to someone when I leave a server without having to give out a password or get them to vote, i.e. when logged in as admin you could do this: #admin assign <playername> or <userid> The reason I'd like to see a Jr. admin is so that as the master admin I could log back on later and retake control without asking them to logout, etc. Also, I'd like the ablity to force start even though people are not green, i.e. they haven't hit start or ok. PLEASE think about this because I hate it when someone goes AFK for a min and we all have to wait on them to come back, whereas on the Hosted servers you can start or whatever regardless. This also holds true for the Briefing screen where you have to wait for everyone to click "I'm Ready". PLease oh please with sugar on top let us force start without having to kick them! Lt_Damage 0 Posted April 8, 2002 Those are definately good ideas guys, some other possibilities: *"I'M READY" and "START" buttons not required. *Automatic playerlist sort according to ping *Admin ability to force AI off on both teams simultaneously. [Disable Side] [Disable All] [Enable / Disable] *Player name changes color or speaker symbol appears when using in-game mic. *More efficient use of color-coding in playerlist Red = Connection will result in lagged play Yellow = Player experiencing some lag Green = Player is not lagging Because of the nature of the game, the waiting, etc, the more efficiently the role selection and game setup screens run, and the also the more ability the admin has to keep gameplay flowing, directly effects playability of the server.
