KnottyLocks 10 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi, I just would like to know what would the best performance settings be for ARMA 2 for my PC. At the moment it's running ok but has considerable lag in some places. I'm not very "tech savvy" as they say so you're advioe is greatly appreciated. My video settings in ARMA 2 are as follows: Interface Resolution: 1920x1080 3D Resolution: 1920x1080 Visibility: 2400 Texture Detail: Normal Video Memory: High Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled Terrain Detail: Normal Object Detail: Normal Shadow Detail: High Postprocess Effects: Low Interface Size: Very Small Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Antialiasing: Low My PC Specs are as follows: 2.6 GHz i7 processor 6GB RAM Ati Radeon 4800 series (don't know which one in the series though) I hope that's all you need to know. jasonnoguchi 11 Posted November 28, 2009 my rig below runs everything very high at above 40 FPS. As you can see, its not more powerful than your rig. Its prob because both my resolutions are at 1280 x 960, which is about right for my 19 inch screen.
ModeZt 0 Posted November 28, 2009 Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled that's not a good idea. you can set it to high or very high without noticeable fps difference. I have C2Q 9550 processor, 4gb, ati4850 gfx and 1920x1200 resolution. if i disable antialiasing and post-processing it runs 40+ fps almost everywhere ( except near stupid red treas ). I can enable Anti-Aliasing or Post-Processing and it's still playable. But if I enable both of them it gets too laggy. ^^ i was speaking about multiplayer. in singleplayer the cpu is limiting me ( even though it's overclocked to 3.5ghz )
