Embassy - AAS (32 & 50 Player versions available)

A close quarter battle in an urban environment. Capture the Embassy, Hospital, Trainyard, and more as you attempt to push the enemy back to claim victory. Thanks to Coolbox and others for the excellent Joint Ops replica gameplay.

The overall zone placement (distance, relation and way of placement) looks very very good.

Multiple attack routes, fair distances and short ways for lots of action. :)

The flag position once has to see ingame. In Chernargorsk Conflict the one on the

railroad is rather unfair as you spawn in the open and its very hard to defend.

Looks very promising. Great job Tom_Anger :)

Any scheduled play/test session for it?

The train tracks has a load of trains, flatbeds, crates, locked vehicles, etc. Below is a pic from the Trainyard area.

I also forgot to mention - both teams have a heli with some good ammo. Reason for heli? Those sweet rooftops aren't the same without some snipers on them :)

Looks nice. I saw a hint that said if you have a small amount of players to enable AI -but where do you enable them? The options under parameters say Public, which I believe is default, no AI. Next option is Public without AI - given. And the last 2 options don't seem to either.

In prior releases AI was a great asset. I am not sure if they removed that option. I'll PM coolbox at the SBS website and get back to you in this forum on the AI features...

I hopped on the clockwork server the other night, but no love on it :-). I work 3rd shift so I usually get more time on the weekends so maybe we can give this Embassy a good ride. I have to see if the Home Spawns are large enough to keep low spawn camping and make sure the armored vehicles are balanced.

One thing I noticed on a server with 30+ players was that making the Embassy the Neutral base that both teams fight for at the start was a very good idea. It has various areas to camp to defend and you almost don't want to leave it, lol. I took a heli and got to the embassy rooftop as well as the international hotel. You can also hide in some buildings overlooking the embassy area. It is constant action with 30+ players so I would think anything from 10-50 would be a good fight... The main post for this mission is where I am looking for general feedback in order to see if a version 1.02 is needed.

Played it a couple of times on ArmA2.ru. It is pretty popular mission there. :)

I like it a lot too. The different attack angles make it very dynamic and lots of

action going on. Even the tanks and choppers add even more variation.
