Coop 2-24: BlackHawk Down, Arma2, Avgani

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I am just starting to create a Blackhawk down Mission on Arma2 with Caa and Avgani 1.5.

some other Addons are also used, but more to that later.

1st of all i need some help :)

When i let my Deltas storm the compound where they should take some captives, i make a trigger to let the prisinors run around with hands up and force them to get in the trucks. BUT, when i use following command for the animation:

p1 switchmove "AmovPercMrunSsurWnonDf_forgoten";

they do the animation, but run around in slowmotion.

Any idea how i can fix this?

btw, here is a small quick and dirty trailer.

just imagine this on a new computer, not on a 2 year old one like mine^^

(and YES its arma2 ;) )

It needs plenty of work given the trailer, but you're on the right track with CAA1 and Avgani (I've heard it's one of the best maps around).

...and the people needs to know how to install it:bounce3:

Instructions are available here and here for downloads to enable Avgani. Krazi I'm sure will release any other addon requirements when he begins beta testing the mission.

In the meantime, the mission Back in the Vill is available for those maps, probably a few others as well.

Nice! :D That trailer looked superb!

How did you get Avgani without the ground imperfections though? On my version I get weird chessboard-like ground.

Same here. The fix I found was change the time of day. Certain times of day give you that effect.

Yep, just tested it. Some times of day lessen the effect, some worsen it. I'd guess it's something to do with the position of the sun.
