USMC vs FFAA BRILATs?

Ive searched through the setfriend threads but cant find exactly what im looking for.

I want fight against the FFAA BRILAT units (me being west) i cant use the group to leader option as i like to use the UPS patrol script. this is just for me in sp mode.

Is it possible to set factions as enemy, ive also tried the change identity options to no success... probably doing it wrong.

There doesnt seem like much choice in opposition units at the moment... so id love to have a go at the british and Vilas polish units as well :D

place a group of USMC,

put down a Russian soldier with rank general and put him as group leader,

then set his probability of presence to 0

you now have a group of enemy us marines.

Thanks Grimfist, ive tried that and it works to a point, although they seemed to shoot the next in command.

I use the ups script for its movement and flanking technique etc, for that i think it needs the group leader present in the beginning.

Is there another option to explore? ive tried the change identity with no success

You could open the mission.sqm and change the side of every unit manually but it's a lot of work.

Cheers IndeedPete, that worked... wasnt too much work, bit of copy and paste, would be cool if you could just choose the sides in the editor tho.

Yes, i agree. You should have acces to every army on each side....
