So i've been having a problem where my game just kinda locks up and says "REceiving...". I tried a few things, stopped using addons, -maxmem=all kinds of different numbers. Turned graphics options on and off, like memory and post process effects etc. Tried windowed mode, tried -cpucount= 1,2,3, and 4. Tried editing the .cfg file.

Does anyone know if they're actually working on this or is there any fix i have yet to discover?

can you post your system specs please? only a certain amount of people experience this issue, so chances are its related to your system setup, so posting your system specs would help us to help you.

also, have you defragmented your hard drive using a standalone defrag programme? (windows defrag is rubbish).

Also, is this happening in MP only?

I can resolve (or produce) the "recieving" problem on my system by simply adjusting the "video memory" setting. Looking thru the various threads on the topic over the months, many others have also clearly demonstrated a link to that setting.

I'm not saying that will resolve it for you, but that's where I'd tell most people to start.

Agree, on my system this bug/issue while playing MP seems to be related to the video memory setting. After changing video memory from "Default" to "Very high" things have improved here. It's still to early to say if it's completely gone but so far so good.
