flake 10 Posted September 26, 2009 Fireing a machinegun while walking seems to be more accurate than standing still. anyone noticed this? the gun doesnt kick.
randir14 10 Posted September 26, 2009 It doesn't kick but the sight sways all over the place.
Lhowon 10 Posted September 26, 2009 At a guess this is an engine issue - I've noticed that when moving forward there's no recoil animation, so I suspect the engine can't do both animations at once. I might be wrong but it seems the logical explanation. But randir14 is right, the sight still sways a lot so you're still very much disadvantaged if you fire while moving. no use for a name 0 Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) maybe they try to simulate your forward momentum helping to keep the barrel climb down? Edited September 26, 2009 by No Use For A Name
Inkompetent 0 Posted September 26, 2009 maybe they try to simulate your forward momentum helping to keep the barrel climb down? They aren't. It's just an animation thing.
flake 10 Posted September 26, 2009 the sight does sway, buts its still more accurate than standing still were the gun kicks and the bullets go up. more than simply animation of a kick.
