I have just got back into Arma after being away from it for some time. I have to admit I was a bit rusty (getting there though). Rated UH-60A/L pilot with a very good background in military tactics and strategy. Finally got a computer decent enough to play Arma2 (aka no game experience yet, used to be a console guy) and looking for a serious, teamwork focused group to play with. Hi, I have been playing ArmA 2 for roughly 4-5 months however I haven't had anyone to play ArmA with and feel as if I am missing out on a huge part of the game. Consequently I have had nothing to test my skills on but the occasional AI battle I tend to make in the editor (I'm not particularly skilled with the editor just yet) or whenever I play DayZ. The reason I have taken so long is because I am not sure if anyone will be willing to accept me into their squad due to these reasons: I am currently 15 years old and in the midst of my GCSEs (important exams for those who are unfamiliar with GCSEs) therefore may not be able to attend each and every gaming session although I would probably be able to attend most. I also know that my age may be of particular concern for those of you who have limits of 16+,18+ etc... I live in England and would prefer timezones that match with mine or are close such as an hour ahead or behind and would be more than happy to play with ACE enabled so that I can get an experience that is as realistic as possible although I am fine if ACE isn't used. I will probably need a little bit of training as, as I said beforehand, I haven't had that much battle experience ingame but I am not fussed what role I play as long as it isn't a jet pilot, I can fly helicopters and transport planes though if you are looking for a pilot, other than that I would prefer to be involved in an infantry role. I also attend the army cadets which means I know various things about tactics but they probably won't amount to much ingame. I am looking for a Mature group of guys who can have a good laugh, gaming is meant for entertainment, but also complete a mission seriously. I am aware that my age is a concern for some groups but that is a decision you will have to make. I am not new to ArmA, I have been playing since ArmA 2. I am not really looking for an ordered/ranked group, but I am willing to be flexible to complete a mission. The idea a taking orders is a solid one, I feel that it is needed for cohesive teamwork and a successful mission, however it is a game and I do feel that strict ranks are a bit much. I do have a slow computer, so lag is sometimes a problem with my connection. It partially allows for precise piloting.... Sniping is also a good option, it requires communication, as well as patience and planning, I am patient so dealing with a slow comp does not bother me. With out being haughty, I feel that I am a decent pilot, I can complete CAS runs, as well as transport missions. Helos or planes are fine, I am flexible. Please let me know if you are interested. My introduction to ARMA was through DayZ, but after spending numerous hours playing I'm now looking for something a little more that rewards teamwork play and offers realistic military scenarios.
