Wasp 10 Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) Hey guys I have been using the Beta patches and this has been an issue for a while now, but i only just found out what it was. as i have been pulling my hair out thinking it was something to do with the mission i made or the server config. right, bear with me i will try to explain this with the aid of pictures. right same mission was used in this... when i log onto our server as admin to select a mission, i dont get an option to select the parameters. using the beta build of the 1.03 patch, i host myself the mission i see all the options as they should now if i host this mission on a dedicated server and run my arma on the without the beta i see all the options normally but if i run the beta patch and do the same action to select the mission i dont have any options sorry if someone has fixed this already or posted in advance Thanks Wasp Edited September 6, 2009 by Wasp
.kju 3245 Posted September 6, 2009 Did you login as admin before selecting the mission? There is/was the bug to have it only appear after the mission is re-loaded.

dale0404 5 Posted September 6, 2009 Gents its pretty self explanatory what Wasp is describing... really need to read the post and most importantly understand what it says.. You wont be able to select ANY options unless you are the admin on the server so by default you have to be the admin, make sense?
nomdeplume 0 Posted September 10, 2009 I'm a little confused which versions you're using. Are the dedicated servers running the same/current beta version as the client you're testing with, or the 1.03 version?

Are the dedicated servers running the same/current beta version as the client you're testing with, or the 1.03 version? it has nothing to do with the dedicated server mate im trying to explain that if you use the beta patches you loose the options to set the parameters of a server you are logged onto. it is clear that this is too difficult of a problem for people to comprehend

It's confirmed for me as well.
