NV goggles triggering mechanism?

Does anyone know the triggering mechanism for units to put on & take off NV goggles?

Nah - I meant the triggering mechanism that makes AI put on & take off their NV goggles :)

I'm thinking that there must be some special trigger that tells the game engine that its become dark enough, or become light enough, for the switch to happen. As this time is different depending on time of year there must be some hardcoded calculation happening and then changing a value. Or something.

try this:

Make a trigger

condition

(daytime > 19.75 || daytime < 4.25)

on activation

player action ["nvGoggles", player]

on deactivation

player action ["nvGogglesOff", player]

Hmmm you got me there but I understand what you are saying. As soon as it gets dark doesnt the AI put on NVG anyways?

They do yeah, it's not the NV goggles I'm interested in, but the triggering mechanism for it :)

I'd like to use the "it's dark enough for NV goggles" logic for other purposes :)
