Bulldogs 10 Posted August 15, 2009 Put them all in two folders? I usually have my mods seperated into several different folders (usually about 4 per folder) that way if something go's wrong I don't have to go through 100 mods to figure out which one broke me. hamis 0 Posted August 15, 2009 Well,i have done it this way in arma(1):in @ECS folder is most of my addons which are just pbo's.Others that need folders like six tracers or @RA i have installed at their own folders.Works well enough.
ck-claw 1 Posted August 15, 2009 Well i usually have a mod folder for the sound mod im using! Another for all my islands(admittedly not really applies to ArmA2 atm). One for minor mods etc like HDR-Mod/NV's etc etc
Noraf 0 Posted August 15, 2009 i'd too recomend using modfolder(s) Though, i'd recomend one folder for each mod, that way it's easier to disable mod(s) that a server doesn't accept, or enable a mod you want to try\need for a mission. Never place mod's in the default addons folder !! And, instead of having to edit the shortcut, or manage a ton of them, you can use a launcher like yoma tools ( www.yomatools.be )

Use a game launcher like the Aplinestar`s 0.8.5 , you can select wich mods you wanna play with, plus even set their priority in mods tab. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=81060
Alex72 1 Posted August 15, 2009 Yep mod folders with launcher is best. Armalaunch1.2 is my fav since it has profiles. You can have as many setups you want. One with mods and one without. One with windowed start etc. Click and go no matter if you have 20 different profiles. Very nice.
trooper117 10 Posted August 15, 2009 I use the goArma launcher.. makes managing mods so much easier.
