Blackbird_CaD_ 10 Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) Recently i sat in the forest with my squad and was waiting for the rest of my team.. And everyone (including me) in the squad was moaning and making annoying sounds like they were injured or something. And those annoying moaning sounds came like every 2nd second. No one in my squad was injured at all, still they moan.. This have always annoyed me but when i sat in the quiet forest i just felt i had enough and decided to make a thread about it. Is this a bug? Or are the characters ment to moan like this when they are tired of running or something? I really hope it is a bug... Oh ye i forgot one thing, sometimes the characters say: "fu*k that hurts", even when they aren't injured, THAT must be a bug.. Ofcourse there has been threads and posts about that units can be hurt on mission start when played in the editor. I dont know if this was fixed though as i never seen it again. Try for yourself, sit in a quiet forest with your 3 AI teammates, and turn up the volume a bit. I bet my parents think i'm watching a porn movie.. lol. Decerto 10 Posted July 27, 2009 You can be injured slightly by many different ways, mostly including vehicles especialy getting in and out of them. To make sure your squad isn't hurt select someone and use the "action" menu. If anyone is injured the option to heal will be there. Also another thought, as it is the campaign, is it that your troops have just suffered an emotional crisis, dead comrade, a war crime? Tinker 10 Posted July 27, 2009 It is just plane and simple annoying. 1: 3 times in a mission with others the other night, I waited for the Heli to land, switch off engine, each time I exited, I received damage. Moan, groan, moan, groan...Even the pilot had it happen. Landing on flat sutface. 2: Placed an AI on map next to me with full health, had to shoot him 8 times in the chest before he died. Moved the health slider to 50%, now he dies around 2-3 hits, but moan, groan. moan, groan from mission start. Dying after 2-3 hits is great for my missions, but having all the actors on the map constantly moan, groan is a PITA. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sometimes they dont even appear to be bleeding but still moan. If you have a medic, let him "heal" you. "Healing" and "first aid" are two different things. I actually like the damage system in ARMAII and the first time I heard "f**k that hurts" I almost sht myself laughing. No I have not experienced the bug of repeated moans.
