Tozzifan 0 Posted July 22, 2009 Hi, although having lack of time available, I've searched the forums and read the manual, looking for tips to progress further beyond the recapture of the first village in this episode, with ... lack of results, so please forgive me for asking again I've checked the options near the main bunker: to buy units to rearm repair heal refuel to consult city menu I've checked the options near HQ unit: to unlock the unit (???) to build a base to build a defense what I need (as well as other "threaders" whose problems are similar to mine) is obviously to rearm and .... get an inflatable couple of Longbows :D (it looks like APCs are not sensible to offenses) at the main bunker, except for consuming money, nothing seems to happen: - buying does not provide anything (what there is to buy at an empty bunker?) - I don't know how to use city menu (how to better place forces) at the HQ truck, after building a base, there appear two (rearm?) trucks that keep going from and to the village (halting for ten seconds from time to time) .... in the end, except (BTW) for espressing perplexity about making money while killing bogeys (is this Call of Duty multiplayer?), I still haven't figured out how to exploit these resources and progress further on thanks for directions
jakerod 254 Posted July 22, 2009 The trucks are supply trucks. The more they go back and forth the more supplies you get. You want to take more towns so that you get more supplies and can build more stuff. Although honestly you really don't need much in Badlands. Eventually you should be able to build a heavy factory and make BMPs and T72s. In badlands I don't think you can make an air factory but I am not 100% sure. BobbyDylan 10 Posted July 23, 2009 No, you can build the air facotry, but it's uselss as you can't build air units. So a total waste of cash. You don't need em though, T72's will do the job!
