tcp 10 Posted October 16, 2009 No, it's not an excuse, it's a reasonable way to do a tutorial. Some people like to make sure they read a hint right when doing something for the first time. " that is no excuse, unless you are saying most gamers don`t have the attention span to be able to read a popup while the game still plays on.... and then the popup fades away? Cause imho that is how it should be done, popup tut., then popup fades away while gameplay stills plays on seamlessly. ok, lets see...how many games have the same type of tutorials. OFP: DR has the same thing. Hell, I think Half-Life even has one. Oh and don't forget Fallout 3, World of Conflict, CoD4, hmmmm...see a pattern? Is it really that big of a deal it's on one mission???
