Patches and mission pack

Recommended Posts

Some things you haven't tried:

1. Give us the details of your system configuration and drivers.

2. What version of Windows?

3. What exactly are the symptoms of the problem?

4. Why are you installing 1.10? If you've got 1.00 your install path is 1.00>1.20>1.30>1.46.

5. What mission pack are you talking about? If it's from BIS, everything will be included if you install the Ultimate Upgrade patches for versions 1.20 and 1.30.

Hi

AMD 1.1 athlon, ASUS A7V133a m/b, ASUS v7100 gforce2 mx,

creative vibra 128 soundcard.

OS: Win Xp pro.

Drivers: VIA 4 in 1 ver 4.37, Detonator 27.20, DX 8.1

Why patch to 1.11? because its the only update that will install for me.(1.20 brings up that sound error posted else where here

Mission pack?? I mean the expansion that lets us play from the Russian side and soon the rebel's side.

A mighty strange thing is now inflicting me, when I launch a game my desktop arrow is still on screen and kinda in control.

Hope this helps.

Search The FAQ for "aspi layer". Try FORCEASPI, mentioned there. Also search for "checksum", which is essentially the problem you seem to have.

If you want to play the Russian Campaign, Red Hammer, you need to upgrade to 1.30.

If you purchased the OFP Gold Upgrade CD, this will automatically upgrade you from 1.00 to 1.30.

If you are planning on purchasing and downloading Red Hammer online, you'll still need to upgrade to 1.20 first before 1.30 and you will not need to upgrade to 1.10 in the interim.

Great site but unfortunately I still cannot install 1.20 patch

Error found in file DTA\Sound.pbo (2e091cb6!=6c2ebbc9)

Done.

This is the only error I have left do deal with, the number/letter code after the = changes after each reinstall but everything else remains the same.

My OF copy is the Australian version original release

(DVD cover in cardboard box )

Sounds like your CD is either scratched or faulty. Or the .pbo on your hdd is corrupted.

Reinstall the entire game, delete the original directory first.

Yes you do need to install all the patches. If you wish to play old versions of games go right ahead tounge.gif

I don't think it's a problem with the CD, more likely a transfer error, read this specific item in the FAQ.
