eskimo jackson 0 Posted March 13, 2002 honestly , why dont they make it through a simple opening in the fence ? i did all the work killing the two tank drivers left in the first camp as they took out half my squad in the first attempt of taking the bloody base. ok , i did them now i want my squad to at least position themselves propperly before they die. is that asked too much ? "4 move to house 12 o clock" "negative" wtf ? i realise he hasnt even made it into the base yet .. stuck at a fence somewhere.... moron ... why did i make them stay in formation , in a column ? yes , because i wanted them to follow me INto the camp. has anyone any tips , hints on how to get through this mission ? please ? i have the gold pack and this was the first mission i consulted the walkthrough booklet on . no help at all . (there is no eb74 on the map , doh! ) honestly , i cant kill ALL the incoming russians myself , can i ? *frustrated* Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Random 0 Posted March 13, 2002 I don't usually have any problem getting them into the camp. Once in there I direct them to bushes so they have some kind of cover (it's a bit messy, and a lot of them die, but I haven't figured out a safe way to do it yet). Then I hide myself in a bush at the back of the base so I have a pretty clear view. Take the sniper rifle and LAW launcher with you - make your LAW soldiers take out the attacking BMPs, then lay down and pick off the incoming soldiers with your rifle. If you get in trouble you can try staying low until Charlie squad shows up in the M113. The mission should be fairly easy once you maintain control of that base. eskimo jackson 0 Posted March 13, 2002 finally , after long hours i made it through ... piuuu with me and the medic standing charlie came to the rescue. taking out the second camp was fun though. blew up the t-72 with the law .. took out the soldiers with the m21 from up the hill and threw handgrenades into the base from outside the fence .. hehe i love this game Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SpaceAlex 0 Posted March 14, 2002 When u take the base, just proceed to the hill (where the BMP's are) and take out those two BMP's. Now, lie somehwere on the hill and wait for the enemy soldiers to come from the right side of the base. Snipe them all and wait for Bravo team. Proceed to the base, destroy the T72 and snipe all soldiers in there. Complete the game. Easy. I love this mission. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Aculaud 0 Posted March 14, 2002 take the M21 and LAWLauncher as suggested. Taking the base, should be fairly easy since there are just 3 soldiers there. It actually doesnt matter where you tell your soldiers to go. Iv hid in plain sight countless times and only lost one or two of my men. A little while after you hit that waypoint, you'll hear about re-enforcements en-route to your position. Use your binoculars and watch the hill in front of you. when you identify the BMPs, your AT soldier will take aim and fire, usually taking one of them out before they're even within range of your law soldiers. You can then take care of the other one with your LAW. after that, just snipe everyone, and wait for re-enforcements. taking the second location should be easy, as you have multiple teams attacking it with you.
