DarkBytes 10 Posted July 5, 2009 http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/ARMAII_gpu_performance/ if you check this review / GPU bench rest , you will see that dual cards do not work well . "Dual GPU cards like the GeForce GTX 295 and Radeon 4870 X2 don’t scale with ARMA II at this time" Interesting read , definatly highlights some performance / optimisation issues with the game. nuggetz 0 Posted July 6, 2009 I'd kill myself if I had (2) GTX 295's and the game ran like crap. What sort of resolution are you guys trying to run at? My game ran like crap until I finally got a working SLI profile. I think it's pretty much the Crysis one with maybe a few changes. I'll copy and paste the hex codes that nHancer displays in the SLI section in the profile tonight when I get a chance.
Inc_Cat 0 Posted July 6, 2009 Well I'll join this club.. been trying for almost 2 weeks to get this running.. now I put the game on the shelf, and seriously consider returing it for faulty product. I7 Extreme+Win7 x64 and Vista x64+6GB DDR3+2x GTX 295 I try to run it at native res 1920x1200.. anything below looks awful. And my problem isnt really framerate.. but the constant crashes... never been able to play anything more than 10-25min... Totally unplayable, and I tried all the trics all over the web... Ande even just did a reinstall of Win 7 ... with same shyat...
