FallenPaladin 0 Posted March 12, 2002 Please give some specs about your system and what version of Flashpoint you use. And the complete error message could be of use, too.

FallenPaladin 0 Posted March 12, 2002 I don`t mean to bother you, but try to give us the specs like that  Here my system for example: PIII 600 Mhz Asus P3V4X Motherboard (Via 4in1 installed, version 4.37) 256 MB SDRAM Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 TV Out 64 MB RAM (driver 14.028) Windows 98 SE DirectX 8.1 Operation Flashpoint European Version 1.46 And name the error message, for example: Memory acces violation at EAA142;EBB354 ... and so on. That makes it easier for people like Theavonlady to help you. BTW she has The FAQ
ExtracTioN 0 Posted March 13, 2002 What is via 4in1? Does it help OFP from chrashing if so where can I get it + is it hard too install?
Mister Frag 0 Posted March 13, 2002 The VIA 4-in-1 drivers are for systems based on VIA chipsets. The vast majority of systems with AMD processors use VIA chipsets. You can download the 4-in-1 drivers HERE. Installation is easy, just run the installer. Try them first in the most conservative mode (non-Turbo) for the best stability to see if that fixes any problems you might be experiencing. Also, contrary to the statement about XP having decent built-in support for VIA chipsets, the feedback I've been hearing indicates that the current 4-in-1 drivers are more stable than the drivers that come with XP.
