Tipx 10 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi, After using the UAV, it seems like either my brightness is messed up, either the texture are. I checked my options, brightness is normal in there, I reloaded the game, restarted the game and it still is messed up. I saw that the textures are loaded somehow because when I "Suspend" the game, during the "Saving Process" where you can see your actual "Ingame view" with a darker overlay, the graphics are fine (well, darker because of the overlay, but you get the point) Here is a screenshot : Thanks. Bulldogs 10 Posted July 1, 2009 Try disabling post processing, and lowering your video memory (in game options) It may also help to disable anistrophic gamma in nVidia/ATi control panel.
Tipx 10 Posted July 1, 2009 Postprocessing is already turned off, and I must admit I really don't understand why the graphics were fine before using the UAV and when I'm saving...
Baker65 0 Posted July 1, 2009 I had the same issue last night. The game seems to keep the same brightness settings that are used when you manipulate the UAV camera and doesn't reset back to the default after disconnecting from the UAV terminal.
HeinBloed 0 Posted July 1, 2009 Try to use the UAV Modul with an UAV in the editor. Maybe this will set the brightness to normal. The UAV uses a script where you can change the aperture. Your pictuer looks like a aperture problem.
NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 1, 2009 Got the same problem/issue in campaign mission Razor Two and I had to restart this mission. From then I didnt use UAVs in campaign. Strange thing is: if I place the UAV vehicles + module in the editor it works - I can scroll between bright/dark settings and leave UAV without beeing stucked into brightness. Maybe the UAV mission scripts have some bugs?
Tipx 10 Posted July 1, 2009 I just tried the Video Memory thing (dont do a thing) and the UAV in Editor (works fine) so I guess I'll do just like NoRailgunner and simply not use that untill a fix comes out to address this issue. Thanks all for your replies
kremator 1065 Posted July 1, 2009 Its got BUGGER all to do with post processing !!! You have pressed N for nightvision in the UAV ...... go back into it .. press N again then HEY PRESTO..... fixed !
Tipx 10 Posted July 2, 2009 @Kremator : Wow... I don't know how you found this out... I can't test it since I reverted to a previous save to be able to continue, but if it ever happens to me again, I'll know what to do! Thanks :-)
bascule42 10 Posted August 20, 2009 an old thread, but I'm having a similar problem, only when using the UAV, I had a relatively normal view, just a bit grainy as you would expect from a camera from the UAV. No prob there, but the grainy overlay stays on after I exit the UAV. Its quite funny really, cause its...well just strange. Anyway, I'm just posting this for information only. As I'm just going to restart the mission.
