Can you make your own custom voice profile?

Hi,

I have a question. Can you make your own custom voice profile? Where is the voice .pbo so i can make my own voice profile?

And if there's addon for it, let me know.

It's probably not impossible, but you would need to record a LOT of speech. I doubt it would be practical, and in terms of MP compatibility, definately no chance.

I may not answer your question to your fullfillment, but I can give you a bit of a help. You can select one of five different "voice-types" and adjust their pitch in the profile menu.

Well if you're feeling up to it then give it a shot. I'd take a look at the config files to find out how to define new voices and exactly which files (presumably a "shitton") you need to record. In theory you should be able to add a new voice that can be selected from the user profile configuration. It should work in SP but I'm positive it won't function (at least not as intended) in MP.

And I'm pretty sure that no MP server would want to allow you to upload that much crap to all the other players when you logged in. Can you imagine if every player wanted to record all his own voice-overs? We'd be days receiving all the files at log in.

I watched inside the GROUP/RADIO folder, and it isn't so big. It's done in about couple of weeks.

I don't play Multiplayer so much, so it doesn't matter if i can't play in the MP servers.
