peacemaker898 10 Posted June 27, 2009 Okay, I was wondering why I was getting such poor performance here. I have everything on normal with no AA/AF and post processing on low. My resolution and 3D resolution are at 1600x1200. All of this runs at about 20-30 FPS and dips to 15, then every 5-10 seconds dips to 0. That last dip is very annoying, it happens pretty often, like I said, 5-10 seconds. I's running Windows 7 with an E6750 stock, 8800GT stock, 2GB RAM. What can I do to stop those random dips? :O BONUS QUESTION!: When setting the controls for aircraft (I have a Saitek x52), I put the turn left and right to the joysticks Z+/- rotations (When you just turn the stick). Then I flew, and the results were that the plane would bank instead of just turn. So I set the Z+/- rotation to the left/right pedal controls. That makes the plane turn correctly, except it turns very slowly and eventually stops turning completely. So what do I set my rotation controls to to make my plane turn!? Thought of something else, is the input lag supposed to be there? Like when I press "w" it takes a second for the soldier to move, or when I move the mouse it takes a second for the screen to move. I was wondering if this is normal. Thanks for the help guys.
Gn0sis 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Hi! I´m having issues with mouse lag, but movement is normal for me and that rotation with helicopter is odd...Any methods to solve these would be appreciated
lolfish500 0 Posted June 28, 2009 You'd have a better chance of someone being able to help in the Troubleshooting forum. Try putting the settings to low and then moving up each setting in turn so you can find out which is causing the problems. Sorry I couldn't help, good luck! -=seany=- 5 Posted June 29, 2009 Get Rivatuner and check your 8800's temperature. Arma heats your gfx card like no other game. Worth a check.
Shinobi575 10 Posted June 29, 2009 Update your video card Drivers, it may help.
peacemaker898 10 Posted June 29, 2009 The mouse lag is still there on all low and my drivers are up to date. The weird thing is that performance doesn't really change from low to very high, it just doesn't feel right. Maybe I'll wait for another patch.
