Would be nice to have it displayed in a miniscreen ingame, say attached to your characters wrist. That way while ads, your map would always be visible.

strange, ran the .exe as an administrator, got the black screen, activated windows task manager, alt-tab into windows and then back into the game and now it works. Took 20 seconds before arma 3 text appeared.

I have the same problem, i'm trying to figure it out, but i fear there is nothing we can do about it, other than wait...

If this is going to be implemented into next and future releases, then thank you devs!

If i recall correctly, Clive Lindop stated in a youtube clip that they wanted to create unique characters instead of identical faces and so on. Well suprise suprise, most of the characters in Ofp:Dr are identical twins, even the ones in your team. There are only three...no, two positive things in dragon rising at my opinion: Voices and framerate. Even at everything (expect shadows) maxed out 4870x2 performs nicely at 60 frames/s, sadly fps drops to half when using flir or nv. Famous volcano, that was referred by devs in yt-videos and official forum is just a huge pile of dirt with an opening on top of it. Theres like few trees and more...um dirt in there, not even the ninjas can be found -go figure :/ If we would just get the performance of dragon rising into arma2, there would be no need for "competition" over mil-sim genre, not that this situation is threatning for arma2 in any means. Edit: 1. mark my words, that Dlc is going to be a freelook, ghillie suit or some other "addon" that was supposed to be a part of the game originally..

well, then i´m starting to think that someone else blew up that chopper...Any advices how to separate weapon and action queries? Or is it even possible?

Hi all! I was just playing online but, i was kicked for teamkilling...Now, that tk was an accident cause, i was entering into chopper that was sitting at respawn. Like every action, entering a chopper happens through context menu or, what ever it is called but, it is also used to select weapons. So when i was standing right next to the chopper, the menu popped open giving me multiple options to choose from, one of them was to climb onboard to that chopper and one was to plant a mine or c4...I picked the right option for entering that chopper but, for some reason my character desided to plant that explosive i was carrying right underneath the chopper and next thing i know we were all dead. My question is, is there any way to separate common action query menu from weapon selection menu?!

4870x2 with phenom II 940be + 4gb of ram in vista ultimate x64 and i´m having very similar problems. Constant application crashes into desktop and second gpu seems to be idling...I have tryed every possible method that i have found from number of forums but, nothing seems to help.

I´m getting way better frames within vista than in xp. Dunno why...is there any benchmark tests made in between vista and 7?

Hi! I´m having issues with mouse lag, but movement is normal for me and that rotation with helicopter is odd...Any methods to solve these would be appreciated

I am not advicing to circumvent any protection, i´m stating that for example in some games the game itself "reminds" players, who are playing on easier levels, to save their progress by ie. blocking/locking a doorways, or perhaps blurring their view untill the game has been saved! "Oh, tell your "friend of a friend" to buy the game." Not my business to tell people what to do, or not in/with their lives, neither it is yours. It´s rude. edit. I believe mods would have already notified me if i would have said something impropried...

Do me a favor and try saving your game when this happens. Reason why i ask you to save is cause, i know a person, who knows a person who downloaded an illegal copy and this person had a similar problem...He stated that blurriness was removed immediatly after saving his game progress.

I just tested a demo with fraps and im getting from 40-60 frames with everything maxed out and viewdistance ~5000 meters. Antialiasing was turned off. I have 4870x2 2gb @ 797/955 gpu/mem, 4 gb of ddr2 ram and a Phenom II 940be @3.55...

I have the exact same error while installing and i have already re-downloaded, changed the install directory, defragmented my hdd ,tried even to install on xp and now i´m out of ideas...Help would be appreciated! Thanks!
