Sandman(NL) 0 Posted March 9, 2002 When i play Operation Flashpoint the sound suddenly stops after a few minutes, total silence. What is causing this to happen?? The game is running just fine, apart from the sound of course. With other games there`s no sound prob at all. Can anyone tell me what to do?

theavonlady 2 Posted March 10, 2002 Can anyone run this through an Enigma Decoder?
ALDEGA 0 Posted March 10, 2002 SUMA was talking about the fact that he cannot understand any word that 'we' (me and sandman[nl]), 'dutchmen' Â are saying. His problem (besides the disappearing sound), is also crackling noice (may be VIA related). He believes it's due to too many sounds being played at the same moment. Causing some kind of overload, which disables all sound. E.g. all sound is well while he's driving a tank. However as soon as he drives through a bush (with the accompanying bush-get's-driven-over sound), the sound disappears. btw, I'm not from Holland, I'm from "The Flanders" (Belgium). For what it's worth, search The FAQ for "crackling sound" and follow through on the various VIA and sound tweek links.
ALDEGA 0 Posted March 10, 2002 Yep, but his main problem is that the sound disappears all together.
