cartier90 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Have just bought game, am very pleased. I7 2.67 4 gb ram 1gb card. Framerates in the 30s-40s. Setting vid memory to very high helps. One thing Iv'e noticed though is the 'vaseline' - (everyone uses this analogy) like blur on everything, is this normal, have high settings and 1680 res. If this has been answered before apologies... Stimpak_Addict 0 Posted June 25, 2009 It's either motion blur or depth of field.
walker 0 Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) Hi cartier90 It is Post Processing. You need to disable it. It will not stay disabled after you turn ArmA off which is a known bug. The work around is the same as the solution, turn off Post Processing each time you start ArmA. Select Options Selecct Video Options Select Advanced (bottom left) Select Post processing Set to Very High Set To Disabled Select OK Select Back Hopefuly it will be fixed in the next patch so the option selected stays in effect rather than resetting each time. el_muerko 0 Posted June 25, 2009 if your fillrate is lower than your resolution objects can also look blurry
walker 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Hi El_MUERkO Since patch 1.02 fillrate is now tied directly to Resolution. You select a resolution that has 100% next to it; so that option is more or less idiot proof Kind regards walker
Helmut_AUT 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Post Processing on LOW removes the blur too - I think it's Depth of Field simulation.

De_willy 10 Posted June 25, 2009 I disables the post processing effects and it was gone. I believe there is some sort of "motion blur/bloom removal mod" out here on the forums.
