I really want this on consoles especially the PS3 and im not being a fanboy but id rather get it on the PS3 cause it could handle more stuff. Guest Posted June 23, 2009 I assume there is a reason why its only being ported to xbox, and i assume there is a reason why it still probably won't make it that far. The reason being the PS3 can not handle more than the 360, nor can the 360 handle more than a PS3. If it does make it to consoles, think of it as the flashpoint elite. It will be downgraded in every possible way, and will get rubbish reviews because sole console players just do not understand the arma/pc gaming community. I would really give up on a PS3 port, just get OpFlash 2 instead, it's like ArmA, granted it's dumbed down and nothing like the original Flashpoint... Just for arma 2? Mate, a top line system that runs arm 2 will run any game maxed, you'll be running ps3 games on your pc at such higher framerates and graphical settings you won't believe it. They good for a few genres of games, like Racing and FPS shooters, now i know one of you will try and shoot me down here but ARMA2 isnt a FPS shooter, its a tactical Military SIMULATOR, far more going on than just pointing your gun and pulling the trigger.
