So I broke the first mission in 5 minutes

First off, the team switch doesn't seem to work properly. team switched AI don't obey orders anymore and stand still. Next to that, the optional goals that you are given to you by choosing yes no in the command menu can be broken by team switching when recieving them. When you team switch back to your main char the options are gone and the mission is stalled.

Next up is the AI that will run wild sometimes and gets killed because of that. When I say run wild I mean it'll go way out of formation.

Ok, just to tell you this, when you team switch, they won't follow your orders i think until you tell them to "Return to Formation". Try that, team switch is working fine for me....

There´s one universal solution that works for everybody: Do NOT play the A2 campaign!

Sadly that one applied to A1 too, but well ... i´m having a hard enough time already convincing myself that a good campaign isn´t needed for an overall good game *sigh

Nah, the AI team leader is doing that and it doesn't work. And I can't team switch into the TL to do anything.

Besides, the campaign isn't turning out to be my cup of tea...I really don't know why the super secret team razor route instead of the good old flashpoint grunt route.

when you attempt to tell them to "return to formation" does itinstead say "All follow 2" ?

if thats the problem press 0 then 5( i think) and choose the "done" response ( i think its 1) and that should fix the problem.

It's the campaign, I can't team switch into the squad leader. I thought I made that clear with the title...
