A demo would really help

Not only is the wait for this game killing me (preordered on Steam, so I've got to wait a while) but I'm not exactly sure how the game is going to run on my rig. Putting out a demo pre-release would be awesome.

BIS have said it's likely a demo will come out before the 505 Games release. BIS know that people want a demo as it's been stated many times in many other locked threads on this forum like yours. If you can't wait, buy the downloadable German version of ArmA II and try it out there.

I too really would like a demo, It will answer so many questions. I know that a few threads have been popping up about this. They should make a sticky for the Demo in the general forum, even if they dont have a release date just to give it a place to be discussed and some where we can look to see about any demo related news imo.

If the game contains lots of bugs, I dont really think a demo will help at this point. If BIS sort out the bugs and improve the path finding, people might see this as a awsome game and not a buggy hell hole :)

VEHICLE PATH FINDING - i might add. Path finding on foot seems to be very good from what ive seen. Dont over do it please. If you like these kind of entertainment then there is ONLY this one so i dont understand all the hassle.

Demo for people who do not know what ARMA is or doesnt know how it is to play more realistic combat games. Those who know what ARMA is and those who want the more realistic combat FPS - no demo needed apart from maybe testing ones own hardware. But i wouldnt trust any demo working as the full program. But thats just me.
