Guest Posted March 6, 2002 Yep its very BIG i mean 10 times the size of opflash but does not look as good, but it covers the entire of wwII including Eastern front and plays in real time but the downer is that it costs 9 dolla a month but thats because 1000's ppl playing at once. nordin dk 0 Posted March 6, 2002 I never said you said I said. It does indeed, and I'm quite tempted to join, only I know I don't have the patience or the dedication it would take to make it really fun. Now, on to more serious things...sleeping
madmike 0 Posted March 6, 2002 The graphics are bad but the gameplay does look very nice, I can see the RAF planes attacking a target infront of this player. I would love to play flashpoint online but until the cost of cable comes down I will have to put up with slow internet
madmike 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I think I might join but I need to think about it

The concept of Hedgerow fighting in 1940s France does sound very exciting... I will try the 14 day trial and if I like it, Corned Rat is getting paided an extra 10 dollars a month. Guest Posted March 7, 2002 What i like about it from what i have seen is that it aint always a stalemate take a look at this.... Yesterday  the front line was along the belgium border.
Guest Posted March 7, 2002 They had a 15 day demo you could download and try. It was ok. A really nice tank sim but the infantry side is appauling. Getting any where takes hours and theres hardly ever anyone around to give you a lift (you cant get in and out of trucks or any other vehicle). The weapons are kind of limp. The grenades go poof and not much else and the SMG's are horribly in-accurate. It's a real strategy game and you've got to get involved in whats going on in the entire region, not just what you can see 6, 7, 8 hundred meters around you. The flight sim side is pretty nice. I did a couple of bombing runs in a blenheim I multicrewed with a friend. It's alot more realistic than OFP in it's modelling of weapon sights. Flight models feel a bit "funky" the planes dont seem to lose energy. I'd like to try it again some time, but AFAIK it's not in the UK.

Guest Posted March 7, 2002 Sorry I shouldn't use such un-known short term Tovarish is right, what I actually meant was: "I'd like to try it again some time, but Appart From An Insane Kraut it's not in the UK."
