You are a leader of US Army Special Forces A-team.

Rescue US soldiers captured by Taliban. Escape by helicopter from Taliban area.

*Please play veteran mode.

WIN CONDITION

Win

-Rescue captured US soldiers

Lose

-All captured US soldiers die

-Transport helicopter down

HELP FOR ACHIEVEMENT OF DUTY

**************************

ACTION MENU

There is a limit in the usable number of times, but the number of times increases if you achieve a duty.

1) Emergency medicine

The wound of the player is treated. (Include the soldier within 20m of the player)

2) SAVE GAME

Autosave game (used for Retry) It is effective to achieve the first duty.

TIME ACCELERATION

This can't be used by this mission. However, it is possible to use it only when you are injured and you can't stand.

I'm just about to give it a go. I did a quick and dirty edit to use the ACE version of the West units and I noticed that "test_soldat" was still in the mission.sqf. I assume it's not needed so I just removed it from the required addons, etc. section. I hope I'm right.

EDIT: Yeah enlarged they do have problems. You gotta replace the class names in the mission.sqm with the corresponding units from ACE. ACE used Jonny's SF for their SF's.

EDIT2:

stiff, this is a really fun mission. I'm playing it with ACE+FFN v0.82 and it's wickedly hard. I got my ass stomped a few times before I was able to get into the first building with the captives.

FFN really gets those Tali's crazed. Just the way I like missions. Damn tough to get through.

This may sound daft, but are the Taliban units and Desert Wasteland required if you're running the ACE version?

First post says Jonny's units are not for the ACE version, but doesn't mention if the other two are required.

Nice little mission! Never seen units report enemies movement like that before, it was superb. Small but damn funny!

EDIT: When quitting the mission it says "script Equip_W.sqs" not found. Does that mean something is wrong in the mission or can we disregard it?

nice mission , i been playing the ACE version and the atmosphere is great , good choice of weapons and units , didn't finished it still because i'm very bad but i keep on trying. thanks for the mission
