oscar19681 0 Posted February 17, 2009 I,m really looking forward to this game so i desided to install arma on my new machine i bought since it was a little slow on my old machine. But after playing it i was as dissapointed with arma as i was with my old machine. Thought it ran smooth i still noticed missing textures , The AI as stupid as can be , how unrealistic the campaign was and i just desided to stopp playing it becuase it was more frustrating then enjoyable. Anyway looking at arma 2 it looks promissing and the grafics look great , But then again so did arma grafic wise. I just hope arma 2 is gonna be more realistic and injoyable then arma ever was. I,m kinda hoping it would be a revolutunairy as ofp was when i first played it.

killerwhale 1 Posted February 17, 2009 I dont think it'll be that different, if you carefuly examined the video clips we've seen about ArmA2, the AI which was the main problem still behaves the same. As dumb as it was before. Good thing, OPF2 is there also. Atleast now we have alternative
Second 0 Posted February 17, 2009 I dont think it'll be that different, if you carefuly examined the video clips we've seen about ArmA2, the AI which was the main problem still behaves the same. As dumb as it was before. Yup. This is my main consern. There will be changes but are they drastic enough to make gameplay (in firefights mostly) feel new instead of OFP-like? Right now i'm holding my horses. LOL Right now i'm mostly satisfying my firefight-urge with Medal of Humor: Airborne. Which is bit pathetic, but right now when Vietcong ain't working on my Vista i'm forced to play it. And tweaking AI values like aggressiveness and weapondamages seems to be pretty easy. Placebo 29 Posted February 17, 2009 Just because someone makes a relatively pointless thread it does not excuse spamming in it, spamming will result in post restrictions and/or warning levels. Oscar if you're here to discuss ArmA2 then this is the place, if you want to discuss ArmA1 there are specific forums for that,"chewing the fat" type threads which have no apparent specific aim or purpose are not the reason to start new threads, please find existing ones in which you can continue the ongoing discussions.
