UOE.LiNX 0 Posted March 5, 2002 Why all maps i played on dedicated servers haven't got the g36? Is it because the new (g36, steyr...) increase lag? Excuse my poor english
WKK Gimbal 0 Posted March 5, 2002 no, it's because they're too easy to kill with. You only have to aim in the general direction of the target and it will be cut to sawdust. It's more fun with rifles that takes a little skill to use effectively, like the sniper rifles or the AK.
BigQEd 0 Posted March 5, 2002 We use them on FragHaus in HIGH NOON, CTF HUNT II and DESERT RUMBLE.
N.o.R.S.u 0 Posted March 5, 2002 Just like Gimbal said, they are too powerfull especially the G36 which can kill with one shot no matter where you shoot. I don't use them very often in CTF or DM maps, but in CO-OP they are nice bonus weapons.
theavonlady 2 Posted March 5, 2002 I was very greatfull to the NATO soldier who died so that I could toss away my AK74 for his G36 in Red Hammer mission "Repulsion". That was the first time I actually used the G36 and realized that I was on the wrong side.
Frag Haus Capt Morgan 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Also since the russians have no scope weapons it is kinda unfair to use them. What I usually do when makeing a map is give the russians the steyr aug. And the US the g36. Then leave some ammo crates laying around in the middle of a battle field with both in it.

I don't have the Red Hammer Expansion Pack, but what is the G36 doing in there?  I am asuming that Red Hammer is also set in the 1980's and the G36 was only put into production in 2000/2001.  So much for realism.
