Major Fubar 0 Posted March 4, 2002 I really, REALLY hope it doesn't just replace existing bugs with new ones. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, BIS do a great job with updates and patches, but a lot of new bugs still seem to crop up with each patch. Dare I ask, how thoroughly are the patches playtested before release? Sorry to sound like a whining ingrate, but I'm just curious.
Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted March 4, 2002 U think they gonna change the map-grid values back?

I like them for making updates and patches regularly. I am not a programmer, although i have some experience using C++ and i have programmed small games on MSX and Amiga, how is it possible that when they get rid of bugs a new one appears. I mean first the tanks do nothing like they should when they get shot at with small fire arms. A patch later you shoot at them, and they dance the magarena and bounce where the Gummy-bears would be jealous about. But as i said, they always trie to make it better. I mean 1.45 was just released (and i just got mail from a friend who tried to land a chinook and he bounced forward in the trees and died ) and then the choppers did weird while landing, and they have a new patch ready. I call that service and support. THANK YOU BIS, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Gorgi Knootewoot 0 Posted March 4, 2002 Wait, i don't even want 1.46. I just go back to 1.30, because that is the last ultimate upgrade. I don't want to reinstall again when i do 1.46 over 1.45 or so. I will just wait till 1.50, the fourth ultimate upgrade Oh, i could go to 1.40. I didn't have any problems with that one. So i will install everything that has a "0" at the end. that is 1.20, 1.30 and 1.40 (and finally 1.50). But now i go play Renegade over Westwood Online I have much fun this coming weekends LAN-party with OFP it think. We will have 8 players and do CTF. 4 against 4. Woohoo. OFP is the best
