CRIONYK 0 Posted December 6, 2008 hi all i have 65 p3d to relocate into a new pbo and i dont want to do it manually. Also i know the "addonMaker.bio2s" script can do it automatically (ex : test.pbo into CWM_Weapons and moving all textures, rvmats, configs into new folder). any one know how to use it ? or could anyone create a program who can convert a folder into a new one with all p3d and materials ? thanks in advance
.kju 3245 Posted December 6, 2008 how far did you get with the o2 script? you need to add it first and then run it. you will get a dialog. yet i think you want to adapt the texture path in the p3d. mikero has made a tool for that. you can easily mass rename any string in a p3d. it is called fred.exe. contact mikero via ofpec or the BIKI. Jackal326 1181 Posted December 7, 2008 There is the 'Mass Texture & Material Renaming' tool within O2 itself, however that only does it for one model at a time. That would be handy if you only had a few models, but doing that for ~65 models would become a little tedious, I got tired of it after 15 models
.kju 3245 Posted December 7, 2008 well its even one texture at a time in 2 isnt it?
t_d 47 Posted December 7, 2008 You can use wildcards in O2 mass renaming tool. For example: Old Texture Name: \myAddon\data\*.tga New Texture Name: \new\path\*.tga This would change all at once.
