no titles, no menu and graphics in arma

When i start arma 1.14, there are no titles, like bis arma etc, just black screen, hdd loading, then i get this

specs:

athlon x2 4400+ (brisbane core)

2x1+2x2 Gbytes CSX DDR2 800mhz

Asus M3A mobo

Radeon HD3850 512mb, catalyst 8.11

Vista ultimate x64 SP1, all updates

What is this? I played with arma some months ago, on same machine exept the +4gb ram, same with vista x64 sp1

oh and i tried that -maxmem=512 thing, didn't worked.
