PROPER Weapon Collision Shape

I have to say that yes as regards realism play etc its not brilliant. But for SP play in urban areas in Arma its so much better. Its not really making it easier, just helps.

I can name a few times where I just avoided buildings becuase it "felt" awkward to the point of unrealistic even though there's a hint of realism for its purpose.

Also I know of a few times leaning and shooting then taking fire and wanting to move from a doorway got me killed becuase the move actually hindered my exit with the sticking. That moment in real life would be the equivalent to smacking yourself on the corners of the door and hitting your foot a few times like a jibbering mass.

Im all for realism but as I say the implementation vanilla itself is not great and is borderline un realistic anyway. Although auto lower would be good I can see that.

If I had to be totally honest I think entering buildings in arma is so un immersive I tend to not bother, arma2 for that I think.

i tried this mod. but i have still collision nervous breakdown on steel ramp , in any factory of sara.

maybe the soldier shape is causing that.

Walking stairways in the helfenburg don't work well too.

Try do climb the castle on the dreide map. You will have problems with the stairs, especially when carrying a M107 wink_o.gif
