ManDay 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Hi, all of the sudden the ping-preview function stopped working. Where formerly there was the Ping in either green, orange or red, I now get a "?" for every server, although I can connect to every server and get a decent ping there. Nothing changed. It just started... €: Just had a chat on IRC's #ArmedAssault with phil and another guy (the name is phil! PHIL! remember that name! - the other guy didn't ask for his name to be mentioned here so...) and it appears that others happen to get this, too €: After a little trying and testing I (together with the "other guy" from irc) can now draw the conclusion that this is definitly a registerserver issue and not client side since servers adressed through "remote" are displayed properly. Isn't it a bit strange that pings appear to be obtained from the register server (which, in this case, fails)? Shouldnt pings be gathered by every client on its own? kklownboy 43 Posted September 18, 2008 well your AV/Firewall/security may have updated and you now have too high of setting in your FW, so it wont echo/ping allow. Then again it looks like Gamespy is poop, like Dwarden said. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
