The setacctime command did not succeed though I tried to take it to the camera. It slows until the execution cycle of the script if acctime is slowed down. The camera movements becomes very awkward. Maybe you can integrate Gaia's Time Anomoly as an alternative? I'm going to give your addon a try, as soon as I'm done with a project I'm working on.
